The magical Villa Aye wedding venue in Phuket, Thailand was where international couple Kasheen and Andrew decided to tie the knot. A gorgeous day, filled with 80 of their family and friends, and we were so excited to be invited to capture it all!

Kasheen & Andrew’s Magical Villa Aye Wedding Day

Kasheen and Andrew’s love story began when these two expats met on a work trip to China whilst living in Hong Kong. And what started off as a solid friendship soon turned into a blossoming romance.

Because the pair felt effortlessly comfortable with each other, and realized that they had tons of things in common (including the fact that they worked in the same field!), it was the perfect start to a new beginning… that is, the transformation from ‘just friends’ to romantic partners.

When it came to the proposal, Andrew mustered up the courage to propose to Kasheen while on a surprise holiday. He whisked her away to a private island in the Indonesian archipelago, and popped that special question!

Of course, no good story comes without a few bumps in the road… and for Kasheen and Andrew, it was the fact that the folk at immigration nearly blew Andrew’s cover at the airport in Singapore!

Luckily, the secret was safe, and the pair got on a private sea plane to the remote island. They fell deeper in love whilst enjoying an intimate boat trip around the islands with canapés, champagne, and a dinner for two surrounded by lanterns and candles. Long story short, she said yes! And so the pair began planning their stunning wedding.

They chose the beautiful Villa Aye wedding venue in Thailand to join souls because of its breathtaking views overlooking the Andaman Sea, the private and expansive grounds, and its traditional yet modern Thai decor. Their wedding in Phuket consisted of two bridesmaids, one maid of honour, two groomsmen and one best man.

Kasheen absolutely glowed in her wedding gown, which caused Andrew to choke up at the end of the aisle! And when asked what their favourite wedding moment was, the pair said:

“Our favourite moment would have to have been seeing all our guests for the first time; looking down the aisle during the ceremony was such a surreal feeling and made the occasion all the more special that so many of our close friends and family travelled so far to celebrate our special day.”

Kasheen and Andrew, we wish you so much happiness and a lifetime of good health and smiles. We are so grateful that we were able to be apart of your big day, and thanks so much for trusting us with your wedding photography! We loved every second of it!
