An Outstanding Phuket Wedding at Amatara Wellness Resort

Beautiful Sunny and dapper Danno celebrated a gorgeous Phuket wedding at Amatara Wellness Resort.

We loved the intimate family and friends vibe at this exceptional location, and so much warmth and adoration was felt throughout their magical day.

Their love story began in Seattle, Washington. And it was in March, 2018, while on vacation in Phuket, Thailand, that the pair decided to make things more official.

When looking for the perfect wedding venue, they both admitted that Phuket had stolen a piece of their heart. They knew that this idyllic island would be the perfect way to start their new journey together.

So, they made their way back to Thailand on an 18-hour plane ride to relish in the gorgeous views at this peaceful resort with their nearest and dearest to celebrate their wedding day.

Sunno and Danno’s Phuket wedding was such an amazing experience for us too, as it was our first time at this Thailand resort.

We managed to capture some really special moments – especially to the backdrop of the stunning golden sun at sunset. We also snapped a few creative couples photos of the newly weds at night that we loved.

Needless to say, the energy of these two was just so fun. They’re both so in love with life. This was clearly evident by how they described their favourite wedding moments:

Danno loved watching his bride’s dress get stuck twice while walking down the aisle, which he said helped relieve some of the nervous yet excited butterflies and tension in a comical way.

Sunny enjoyed cutting their wedding cake with a giant light saber that was half her size!

As for us, we loved hearing about how Danno, a chef, cooks overnight for his new bride when she goes into work. It just melted our heart, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see these two join souls at their Phuket wedding.
