These two lovebirds fell hard for each other, and celebrated their ‘happy ever after’ with stars in their eyes and absolute glee.

Alex and Rob’s Phuket Beach Wedding

Who knew that a pleasant day at a boat show in Southampton would evolve into a life-changing romance for Brits, Alex and Rob! And after six blissful years, the question was popped while on vacation in breathtaking Thailand. Want to hear their engagement story? It’s a heartfelt one, for sure.

Rob graciously asked for Alex’s hand in marriage with her grandmother’s engagement ring, a truly emotional moment as Alex’s grandmother had just recently passed on.

Wonderful memories began streaming in of Alex’s grandmother, and a profound feeling of closeness ensued.

Needless to say, their engagement was the perfect way in which to honor and feel closer to her. In fact, Rob had gotten Alex’s grandmother’s blessing beforehand, making the experience even more special.

And so it was, Alex and Rob were ready to take the next step in their relationship – and their big day was equally as memorable.

An intimate Phuket beach wedding was enjoyed along with 40 of their close friends and family, with many flying in from various countries worldwide.

Alex and Rob, when asked what their favorite wedding moment was, simply replied: “Everything!” and that’s exactly how Stam and I felt while photographing the big and small moments of the day. These two wore big smiles that were effortlessly beautiful, and such a pleasure to capture.

The pair chose to have their wedding ceremony at the gorgeous Layan Beach National Park, and continued the celebrations at Catch Beach Club (a family favorite for Alex, and the spot where she celebrated her 18th birthday party!). Excellent entertainment thrilled their guests, and the whole affair was just pure magic.
