We just love the story of international couple, Annie and Kevin, who couldn’t wait to call each other their forever person.
A Superb Wedding Day at The Repulse Bay Hotel in Hong Kong
The pair met on Boxing Day in 2017, and after three months of dating, Kevin proposed while on vacation in gorgeous Phuket.. and the story is totally swoon-worthy!
He sneakily arranged a trail of rose petals outside of their hotel room. “Well, that’s pretty sweet of the hotel to arrange this for us, don’t you think?” Annie said. Much to her surprise, Kevin was the mastermind behind the romantic gesture, and so the – the pair were engaged!
They celebrated a pre-wedding meal and Annie’s father’s 60th birthday at T’ang Court – a 3-Michelin Star restaurant, two days before the ceremony (all Kevin’s doing, as he wanted only the best for their guests), and had their spectacular wedding at The Repulse Bay in Hong Kong.
“I’ve always wanted a garden wedding with western cuisine,” said Annie. They both fell in love with the place after visiting, saying that it trumped all of the other amazing venues they had already checked out. Such a great choice for their luxury wedding!
Stam and I were pretty quick to jump at the opportunity to be their Hong Kong wedding photographer, as we love the hustle and bustle of this urban jungle.
The symmetry of their large wedding vs. their intimate tea ceremony made photographing the happy couple even more fun. We also thought it was so endearing to see Annie’s mum filled with emotion while seeing her youngest child tie the knot. All in all, the day was just perfect!
Thanks so much Annie and Kevin for asking us to be your Hong Kong wedding photographer! It really meant the world to us, and we wish you tons of happy days ahead!
And for those looking for a Hong Kong wedding photographer for their dream HK wedding, give us a shout – we’d love to capture your big day!
