Getting Married in Thailand: Todd and Hui’s Beautiful Love Story
Is there a better way to meet your forever partner-in-crime than a shared love of gelato? We think not! And that’s how the fairytale began for newly weds, Todd and Hui.
These two Chinese nationals met in Sydney, Australia and since, the fireworks have seemingly never ended.
Their proposal details – one where Todd got down on one knee during a beautiful sunset at their favourite park, their wedding day at Rayavadee, and all of their adventures in between, have only been made stronger by their amazing spirit and lust for beautiful, natural locations.
So why did they decide that getting married in Thailand would be the perfect start to married life? Well, it was actually Todd’s love for the movie, The Hangover 2. More specifically, Stew’s wedding that showed off the ocean and island of Thailand.
And as for the venue, the luxury Rayavadee was recommended to them during a peaceful trip to Luzerne in Switzerland.
In short, Todd and Hui are an international couple with an insatiable passion for travel… and each other. And Stam and I were so excited to capture their sweet moments.
They celebrated their big day with 50 guests, of which three were bridesmaids and three groomsmen. Todd and Hui also shared their wedding aisle with the rain, beautiful flowers, and a gorgeous backdrop. It was a photo op that left us smiling from ear to ear.
Needless to say, getting married in Thailand was the perfect way for these two love birds to tie the knot. Geographically, it was easier for their guests to attend, and visually, it was a slice of heaven to compliment their love.
To Todd and Hui, we hope that your wanderlust-driven souls and inspiring fondness for each other continues to grow and energize everyone around you. Thank you again for having us at your elegant fairytale wedding!
