A Country/Winter Themed Wedding in Oxfordshire
Londoners Amelia (Mimi) Cornes and Tom Maxwell held their country and winter themed wedding in Oxfordshire this December and we were there to catch every beautiful moment on camera.
The British couple first met as co-workers and from there love blossomed. Tom popped the question during a stay at Mimi’s parents home in Yorkshire with a ring by Cassandra Goad.
The loved up twosome chose Holy Cross Church in Sparsholt for their ceremony and the breathtaking Ardington House in Ardington Village for their reception. Both the house and the church have some great childhood memories for the groom and put the couple close to his deceased parents (who were buried at Holy Cross), a sentiment that really made the day extra special for everyone.
The large wedding party boasted 7 grooms men, 6 bridesmaids and a flower girl and their 180 guests travelled from all over the globe to join them on their special day.
After their traditional church ceremony the party moved onto Ardington House for a wedding breakfast catered by Barton House and a fun and lively evening reception in a marquee in the grounds, beautifully decorated with flowers by Joanna Carter.
Mimi and Tom’s favourite photograph from the day was the amazing atmospheric shot of them on the steps of Ardington House.
We wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
