Liam Collard Photography was delighted to be able to photograph Gianna and Eddie’s intimate Thai elopement. Gianna and Eddie, both New Yorkers, are Muay Thai kick boxers, and chose to elope to Thailand as they spend a lot of time there through their sport. They selected the beautiful Paresa Resort in Kamala, Phuket, a luxurious hotel that provided a stunning 270 degree view of the Andaman Sea as a backdrop for the ceremony. Paresa’s wonderful in-house wedding planning team organised the event, providing flowers and music, as well as coordinating the ceremony.

As there were no guests, Gianna and Eddie’s wedding had a unique and intimate atmosphere, with the strong connection between them particularly evident. The event was blessed with fantastic weather, hot and sunny, with a vibrant sunset developing during the ceremony and allowing for some truly stunning photographs of the newlyweds.

Our favourite photograph of the day is of Gianna, with her intricate haircut and dramatic wedding dress, reflected multiple times in the mirror on either side of her. It was a spontaneous photograph, just a candid shot of the bride, but it is already one of our favourites of the year.
Thank you, Gianna and Eddie, for letting us be a part of your special wedding day!
