Liam Collard Photography was excited to be able to photograph Lucy and Charlie’s Christmas-themed wedding on a cold, but very sunny, December day in London, England.
The happy couple married at the beautiful, 19th-century Gothic-style St. Luke’s Church on Sydney Street in Chelsea, London (famous English novelist Charles Dickens married there in 1836). After the ceremony, the wedding party travelled from the church to Cadogan Pier on the River Thames, taking the luxury P.S. Elizabethan boat to reach one of the best wedding venues in London, Trinity Buoy Wharf for their wedding reception. The stunning lighthouse at Trinity Buoy Wharf (London’s only lighthouse!) was dressed with a myriad of Christmas decorations, trees, and lights, creating the perfect Christmas-themed wedding day venue.
The bride and groom’s portrait photographs were taken along the Chelsea Embankment, with an outstanding backdrop of London’s most iconic landmarks, including the London Eye and Houses of Parliament. The happily-married, British-born couple organised Santa hats and Christmas crackers for all their guests – you can see from the photos how much festive fun was had at this spectacular wedding celebration.Read More»
