Natasha and Josh Wedding Day Twinpalms Phuket Thailand

Natasha and Josh asked me about being their Thailand Wedding Photographer in 2013 as they wanted to make sure they got the photographer they wanted, I had a great time getting to know them both and to discover how beautiful and cosy this wedding was going to be. Natasha decided to stay in the Twinpalms Phuket and to have the marriage ceremony at the very cool Zazada Beach Club on Surin Beach. They invited family from all over Australia where they are both from to join them on their very special day. It was a great day, the rain held off even though it as a bit windy, it ended up being beautiful in the afternoon when they started with the introduction of Phuket’s famous baby elephant Yaya. The baby elephant managed to make everyone laugh as usual and all the kids there were hilarious trying to feed her fruit without getting too scared. It is one of the great things about being a Wedding Photographer in Thailand, you can witness such amazing activities and treats at these destination weddings.

The evening was an amazing banquet of food served up by the guys at Zazada and before that there were beautiful speeches from family and friends who had made such an effort to fly from all over the world to be here. We then had time to go out and take some beautiful night portraits around the beautiful Twinpalms Phuket resort to create really cool photography for their wedding album. Thank you to

Sarah and Simon Marry at St Joseph’s Parish Phuket

Sarah and Simon approached me to be their Thailand Wedding Photographer back in March when I was in Australia, after chatting to Sarah I had a great understanding as to how wonderful and intimate this wedding was going to be. Sarah decided not to hire a wedding planner and organised everything herself, which was some achievement from a few thousand miles away! Sarah’s family flew to Thailand from Europe and the bride and groom themselves travelled from Brisbane, Australia where they currently live.

They chose to marry at St Joseph’s Parish Phuket a Catholic Church in the town with a beautiful reception at Paresa Resort Phuket – an exclusive five star resort of pool villas on Phuket’s west coast. By the afternoon the rain had stopped and the bride and groom were introduced to Phuket’s famous baby elephant Yaya. The evening celebrations were all about being Irish, having a great time singing and dancing to lots of local Irish music. Thank you to Sarah and Simon for inviting Liam Collard Photography to capture your wedding in Thailand, it really was a privilege to be a part of your celebrations in Thailand. Here’s a sneak preview of the photographs, with so many highlights it was hard to pick out my favourites.

Helen and Nick at Luxurious Conrad, Koh Samui, Thailand

Helen and Nick’s wedding at the luxurious Conrad, Koh Samui, Thailand was a very special wedding indeed. They had the most incredible location to hold their two day wedding event, which kicked off with a wonderful pre-wedding party in one of the private pool villas at the Conrad. This was a pretty crazy pre wedding party but after doing a pre wedding shoot in Hong Kong with these guys, I knew it was going to be a really spectacular few days. In the evening they had brilliant live music and the bride and groom posed for some cool night time portraits, just before I headed back to my hotel to get some rest.

Surrounded by a dazzling azure sea and close to lush rainforests, the Conrad Koh Samui is located on the tropical island of Koh Samui. This luxury hotel was named the Best Luxury Wellness Spa for Asia in 2013 by the World Luxury Spa Awards and as one of the Top 25 Luxury Hotels in Thailand by TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice® awards 2014.

The next day we started with a Chinese ceremony and games in the morning, from this part of the day alone I could have made a whole album by itself it was so much fun. As a Thailand wedding photographer I see clients from all over the world but

Pre wedding photoshoot Gap and Camilla in Bangkok

Our latest photographic assignment took us up to Bangkok for a really wonderful pre wedding photoshoot with to be bride and groom Gap and Camilla. We always have a fantastic time in this amazing city, filled with such energy and shades of light. We decided to meet at Surasak BTS Skytrain and head out onto the streets for the last part of the day’s sunlight and dusk light. As Thailand based Wedding Photographer’s we get to frequently work with these amazing tropical evenings, always producing some spectacular images for our clients.

Camilla is originally from the UK but has lived here in Thailand for the last seven years and Gap is Thai but educated in the UK, so knows England very well, making them a perfectly suited couple. They were a really great to be bride and groom to work with, playful with each other, making sure the images were amazing by relaxing and having some fun with each other as we went around the city of Bangkok. They are getting married later this year and wanted to take some shots to show their friends and family on their wedding day, so decided to instruct Liam Collard Photography’s services sooner in order to complete their pre wedding photoshoot. We went for a long walk around local streets, then into a Sky Bar in central Bangkok, “the most stunning rooftop
